The history of Bek Installation Company starts about 80 years ago when A.L. Bek took over the Spits plumbing company in 1931.
This company was located at Lange Kerkstraat 72 in Schiedam. After a few years he already had approximately 8 employees and before the war he provided plumbing work in many homes in Vlaardingen-Ambacht and the Surinamesingel area. No one could have predicted then that the company would grow into a medium-sized installation company with 30 employees, working for both large construction companies and “small” private individuals.
