The history of Installation Company Ketelaars-Vromans goes back to 1905, when coppersmith Ketelaars started working independently in Tilburg. His son took over the business in 1946 and later two grandsons joined the business. One of them was Jan Ketelaars, who founded his own business in 1969: Plumbing Company J. Ketelaars-Vromans, the predecessor of the current business. At that time, households in Tilburg switched to natural gas and there was therefore a lot of work to be done. Jan also expanded his work to include kitchens and central heating systems. In 1977 the business outgrew its premises and he moved to Thomas van Aquinostraat.
