Luijten Electro started in 1944. Crispien Luijten, Piet's father, initially started as an electrician and bicycle repairman, but over time he increasingly specialized as an electrician and as a salesman of electrical appliances. Piet joined his father's company as a young man of 16 and became owner in 1987. Under Piet's inspiring leadership, the company grew into a renowned installation company. The emphasis increasingly shifted to the construction and maintenance of electrical installations.
