This is how flexible Bikkel Painting is. In 1960, Joop Bikkel started as an independent painter in the Velswijk, just outside Zelhem, with the company name Schildersbedrijf J Bikkel. From the age of 14, Gerco Bikkel started painting with his father on Saturdays and after school. In order to develop further, Gerco chose to first look outside the doors of his father's company and gained solid practical experience at the then Tammel painting company in Zelhem. Gerco then worked at Habeco paint supplier in Doetinchem to understand the technical side so that his customers were first provided with sound advice before having a perfectly executed painting job carried out. In 2011, Gerco revived the former painting company J Bikkel, but the name was changed to Bikkel Paintings.
Bikkel Painting now has its own spider lift and we now not only work for private individuals but also successfully collaborate with companies such as Staatsbosbeheer, Scholengroep GelderVeste and various homeowners' associations.
