The company was founded in 1958 by B. Schelfhout, who is still active as a part-timer.
The work carried out at that time was: Selling, installing and repairing brown goods, white goods and lighting items. Later, the creation, maintenance and inspection of electrical installations in homes and businesses was also added as an activity.
In 1986, O. Schelfhout took over the company from his father, who had then started industrial automation as a new activity. Home automation, telematics, surveillance/security installations and data networks are market areas in which Schelfhout Elektro is active.
Since the end of 2008, a showroom has also been opened, housing audio, video, white goods, electrical tools, electrical equipment and lighting. Here you can ask for advice about all our activities, we are also happy to assist you with renting light, images and sound.
