The former Citroën building, now known as 'The Garage', is a city icon in Amsterdam, designed by Jan Wils according to the principles of New Objectivity. This historic building is undergoing a transformation, with a new mix of work and leisure spaces. Rijnboutt's striking design uses the characteristic ramp as a connecting element, leading to a green oasis on the roof, designed by OKRA Landscape Architects. This roof garden, a quiet place with a view of the Olympic Stadium and the Zuidas, offers space for meetings, breaks and drinks. As new businesses establish themselves and shops and restaurants open their doors, visitors can enjoy the seasonal green environment on the roof. The Koninklijke Ginkel Group is responsible for the realization of this roof garden. Are you interested in our services? Request a free quote now.
