OOSTRA Carpentry & Restoration is a specialized carpentry company where you can go for the restoration of woodwork of monumental buildings and for unique carpentry. Each project is carried out with care and attention in our own workshop. Whether it concerns a custom-made front door in a specific style or the replacement of missing panel doors, we ensure a perfect result.
We work closely with wood carving studio Kees van Mierlo and other craftsmen to restore the original strength and beauty of your woodwork. We strive to work environmentally friendly, mainly using European larch wood and only tropical hardwood with the Ecolabel (FSC or PEFC).
When carrying out restoration work, we mainly focus on wooden facade work and interior. We conduct thorough research into the situation of the building to preserve its historical value. We strive to retain as much original material as possible and only replace what is necessary.
Our approach is personal and tailor-made. We will first visit you for an exploratory meeting to discuss the options. We then make a global estimate of the costs. You can count on high quality and craftsmanship, whether it concerns simple or larger projects.
