Erwin Zimmerman, 48 years old, married to Ellen and living in Eindhoven. Together we are proud parents of 3 sporty teenage sons; Thijmen, Jesper and Pepijn.
After studying Tax Law at Maastricht University, I started my career as a tax specialist at Govers in Eindhoven. My core task was advising individuals and entrepreneurs on income taxes.
I then started at Rabobank as a mortgage advisor. In this way I was actively involved with customers and their financial plans regarding housing. This in combination with the tax issues it raises. My career shifted to investments. People with wealth. And their plans and goals. How can we best achieve this? A great issue to be involved in.
I then became manager of Asset & Mortgage Advice. In this role I saw hundreds of mortgage applications from private individuals and entrepreneurs. These reviews naturally provided many insights and now also help me to make an application more likely to succeed. I discussed the options for customers with advisors. What are the possible difficulties and how do you best solve them for the customer?
