In 1984, our founder, Jos van der Weij, bought a customer base and started advising insurance customers from his bedroom.
Jos knew all his customers by first and last name and came by annually for a maintenance meeting. This was highly appreciated by the customers. Jos's spearhead was the quick and proper settlement of claims, that was his passion and his life.
The current owner, Bas van der Weij, graduated from college in Tilburg in 2003 and immediately indicated that he wanted to continue his father's business. Bas initially started working for a secondment agency as an insurance employee. Because Bas helped his father in the evenings and it paid off, a general partnership was established in 2005. was founded, after which Bas quit his job in 2007 and fully committed to the company.
Due to the growth of the company, a building was rented on the Gilzeweg in Chaam in 2011, partly because we also became an Independent Advisor of RegioBank. As a result, sister Patty also retrained as an insurance advisor and banking employee and joined the company.
The building on Gilzeweg became too small and so we moved to the building at Dorpsstraat 59 in Chaam at the beginning of October 2017.
The team quickly grew to 6 employees: From March 1, Marcel Vogelezang, in addition to Bas van der Weij, will be the point of contact for all your questions regarding mortgages.
