For a number of years we have focused on creating and maintaining greenery around care centers. Here too, the rule applies: What do the residents of these care centers expect from the garden and how do we respond to that? There is an increasing need to bring more color and fragrance into the garden. We have achieved this at a number of healthcare locations by means of: creating borders with scented plants or plants that attract many butterflies. As a result, the garden is increasingly visited by residents and therefore contributes to their living enjoyment. The opportunity is also given to manage part of the garden through self-activity; e.g. vegetable garden, cut flowers.
