More than 115 years!
That's how long construction company Van Marrum has existed. Started in 1903 by great-grandfather Willem van Marrum who started his own company after a two-cent wage dispute. Over the years, the company developed steadily with the first names Willem and Roelof alternating. Van Marrum also managed to keep his head above water during the war by resoling clogs and refurbishing farm wagons.
The company has grown considerably since the late 1970s, mainly through private residential construction and maintenance work. The latter also increasingly applies to institutions such as schools and (then) housing associations. Construction company Van Marrum has continued to develop on this basis. Bouwbedrijf Van Marrum is now a BV with good solvency. In 2013, the company is active in large new construction and renovations, as well as in renovation and maintenance (large-scale and small-scale) of schools, offices, company buildings, etc. Examples of this can be found on this site. In addition to realizing buildings, we independently develop projects and participate in various partnerships. Van Marrum currently has a core of 25 permanent and committed employees.
