Jaap Oud started a one-man business in Buren in 1942. His son Ijs Oud took over the sole proprietorship in 1969 and continued on the Strandweg in Buren under the name construction company Y.H.Oud. Around 1970 the company moved from Strandweg 5 to Nieuweweg 15 in Buren. In January 2000, his son Johnny Oud joined the company. This changes the sole proprietorship into a V.O.F.
